Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00

 

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Flexible

Sunrise Residential Treatment Center in Washington, Utah, is offering a unique opportunity for a dedicated Clinical Therapist to join our mission-focused team.

 

At Sunrise, we go beyond traditional treatment models. Nestled in the peaceful landscape of southern Utah, our campus provides not only therapeutic care but also a supportive, home-like environment for adolescents ages 12 to 17 and their families. Our work addresses the deeper layers of trauma, family dynamics, and mental health with compassion and clinical excellence.

 

As a Clinical Therapist, you will play a key role in guiding adolescents through healing and growth. You will lead therapeutic interventions, support staff development, and collaborate closely with families to foster lasting change. Responsibilities

  • Limited caseloads: No more that 8 that allow for establishing good rapport with clients.
  • Evidence-Based Practices: Emphasize your knowledge and experience with evidence-based therapeutic approaches and interventions (DBT, TF-CBT, Smart Recovery, Seeking Safety, ACT.)
  • Client-Centered Approach: Stress your commitment to providing client-centered care, tailoring therapy to meet individual, group & family therapy needs. 
  • Collaborative Care: Express a willingness to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, psychiatrists, and other specialists.
  • Ability to work with a diverse population and understanding cultural nuances is crucial, especially in a diverse area like Springville, UT. 
  • Maintain compliance with treatment standards through meticulous & timely documentation of notes and adherence to MTP (Master Treatment Plan) standard requirements.
  • Contribute to the achievement of program goals by implementing and meeting outcomes testing and standards.
  • Oversee the fulfillment of program completion and discharge requirements for all students: Most Critical Outcome is 80% of program completion for your caseload. 
  • Develop comprehensive discharge plans for students, ensuring thorough review with both students and their family members.

Qualifications

  • Minimum master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences - Social Work (MSW,) Clinical Social Work (CSW,) Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) or a related discipline.
  • Preferred - Fully Licensed Mental Health Therapist: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
  • Acceptable - Associate licensure: Certified Social Worker (CSW), Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor (ACMHC).
  • A desire to facilitate client growth through a team approach, working with other care providers.
  • A desire to perform and develop counseling/therapeutic expertise in individual, family, and group therapy.
  • Preferred - Two years of working experience as a therapist leading individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
  • Preferred - One year of experience in a residential setting using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities.
  • Ability to plan, implement, and adjust a course of treatment as required.
  • Ability to pass a state background check.
  • Required to have CAQH profile established or updated if you have one and obtain an NPI number for credentialing purposes.
